RocketBPM Updates

Thank you for testing RocketBPM.com!

I would like to use this page to share the latest updates with you:

Release Notes:

Dec 14, 2025:

Removed limitations

  • Arrow labels do not shift on different screen resolutions anymore
We have fixed the size of the process models to avoid misplacement of labels or visual distortion of process models.

Versioning

  • Each draft save creates a new version with number, timestamp, and author; old versions remain accessible.

Advanced Modeling Features

  • Process maps use a 20×20 pixel matrix for simple and fast alignment of process objects

Aug 26, 2025:

Removed limitations

  • Linking adjacent processes is possible now
You can now link to adjacent processes in the lowest swimlane and use this for navigation.

Usability Improvements

  • Font Alignment – Steer & Enable objects now match the font size of Value Adding processes in both viewer and editor.
  • Draft & Editor Watermarks – Process maps in draft show a diagonal “DRAFT” watermark instead of the old red frame.
  • Enhanced Sharing Menu – New options under the share icon: copy link only, or copy process name + link.
  • Process World Preview – Highest-level process maps now appear as preview images in the slider.

User Management

  • User Invitation – Invite users via process world management; they receive registration emails and default demo world access. Invitation mail still needs to be improved.
  • Role Changes & Deactivation – Adjust user roles (user/modeler/admin) or deactivate/reactivate without deleting accounts.
  • Self-Sign-Up – New users can register via form and get demo world access by default.

Advanced Modeling Features

  • Sticky Notes – Add resizable yellow notes with free text to maps and swimlanes (draft only, not in published mode).
  • Role Management – Centralized role database with multilingual names. (Still work in progress)

In addition, we are working on the following features right now. Some of them are already partly available:

Multi-Language Interface & Content

  • Multi-Lingual UI – Interface supports English, German, Spanish (more to follow), set by browser or user settings.
  • Multi-Lingual Content – Process worlds support translations managed per object; default language fallback when translations are missing.
  • Language Selector – New flac icon to switch languages in view and editor modes.

Process Governance

  • Unique Model IDs – Each process model gets a system-wide unique ID for lifetime identification.
  • Model Info Box – New info box (i-icon) displays process details, owners, architects, and managers.
  • Revision Information – Additional tab for documenting model changes with free text.

Authentication & Access

  • Google/M365 Login – Sign-up and login possible via Google or Microsoft 365; admins can auto-assign users by domain.

May 9, 2025:

  • Polished UI with several design improvements
We’ve fine-tuned the interface to make RocketBPM even more intuitive and visually appealing. Expect cleaner layouts, better spacing, and a more consistent user experience throughout.

  • Password management added
Users can now change their password directly in the app – no support request needed. Just head to your profile settings to update your credentials.

May 5, 2025:

  • Introduction video added
I’ve added a short intro video to guide you through the basic features for accessing and modeling processes. Perfect for getting started quickly!

  • First “Demo Process World” available
We’ve added an initial Demo Process World to help you explore RocketBPM in action. Right now, it includes just one modeled process – but more are on the way!
  • First user testing phase launched
The app is now ready for first users to test. I’m excited to hear your thoughts – your feedback will help us shape the next improvements!

Next steps

We are working on removing these limitations as well as on implementing additional features. I will keep you posted here.
